Background

Health and life sciences are fundamental for all of humankind, and as such are fertile ground for formulating and disseminating knowledge. Scientific production in this area is intense, and Brazil stands out with production coming out of its research centers which require translations of papers, protocols, and techniques for international dissemination.

And at the same time, the majority of written scientific production arrives from abroad in foreign languages, requiring translation into Portuguese so it can become available here.

As you can see, translation is an essential step to the spread of knowledge and scientific exchange and development; as a result, translators specializing in areas related to health, medicine, and life sciences are always seeking continuous education opportunities to meet the market’s needs and to offer high-quality services.

The goal of this event is to provide these opportunities to professionals who translate documents in the areas of medicine and life sciences. We believe that the networking and information exchanged between all of the professionals involved in this event will be very useful to all participants
